Rebuilding Heritage is an initiative developed by The Heritage Alliance and funded by National Lottery Heritage Fund to deliver vital training and advice to the heritage sector during the Covid pandemic. General Public were asked to develop a strong brand and website to help the project stand out.
We developed a marque that combines a letter H with architectural details found in UK heritage sites. These bricks can be animated to point to the act of rebuilding, whilst a subtle arrow suggests forward movement. The marque is combines with modern typography, while the colour palette is based on the brand of The Heritage Alliance.
The Rebuilding Heritage website is designed with a clean and flexible design to allow it to grow with the programme over the course of 2021.
Rebuilding Heritage launched in Autumn 2020 with a busy programme focused on a wide range of heritage organisations. The new brand and website have helped them to spread the word and reach many organisations who have benefited from their help.
