The National Gallery, located in Trafalgar Square in the heart of London, houses one of the greatest collections of Western European paintings in the world. The gallery approached General Public to develop a campaign to raise awareness of its permanent collection.
We created the ‘Find Yourself at The National Gallery’ campaign, placing iconic artists such as Picasso, Van Gogh, Degas, Monet, Seurat, and Rembrandt at its centre. The campaign celebrated the strength of the collection, positioning it as an unmissable experience for art lovers. It was rolled out across transport hubs and public transport, with specially designed Oyster card holders distributed at stations.
The campaign led to an increase in visitor numbers and a significant boost in website traffic. Following its success, we continued to work with the gallery on further campaigns promoting its exhibitions.
